Shift:  Evening , 5x8

Hours:  40

Job Summary:  

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Travel CT Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide diagnostic imaging using computed tomography (CT) scanners at various healthcare facilities across the country. This is a contract-based position ideal for CT techs who enjoy working in diverse settings while traveling to new locations. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Perform CT scans on patients, including specialized procedures such as CT angiography, CT-guided biopsies, and contrast administration. 
  • Prepare and position patients appropriately for CT imaging while ensuring their comfort and safety. 
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly. 
  • Administer contrast agents intravenously and monitor patients for any adverse reactions. 
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure optimal image quality and accurate diagnoses. 
  • Review images to verify they meet quality standards and provide images to radiologists for interpretation. 
  • Follow hospital protocols and safety regulations, including infection control procedures and patient privacy standards. 
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures in electronic medical records (EMR). 
  • Travel to different facilities as assigned and adapt to their workflow, protocols, and equipment. 

Qualifications:  

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with CT-specific training. 
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (RT) and CT (CT). 
  • Active BLS certification (ACLS may be required for certain assignments). 
  • Minimum of 2 year of experience as a CT Technologist in a clinical setting. 
  • Proficient in CT imaging techniques, patient positioning, and contrast administration. 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills. 
  • Ability to adapt to different environments and equipment at various facilities. 
  • Ability to obtain state licensure or facility-specific credentialing as required.

  • Travel assignments typically range from 8–13 weeks, with the option for extension. 
  • Housing and travel stipends provided.

  • Must be 50 miles away from the facility.
