Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Operational Analyst, located in Kansas City, KS.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Food Safety Internal Auditor to oversee and ensure compliance with food safety regulations, conduct internal audits, and lead food safety training for all employees. HACCP certification and Spanish-speaking skills are preferred. The role also involves light accounting tasks, if you do not have accounting experience, that is okay as long as you are willing to learn!

Key Responsibilities:

• Food Safety & Compliance:  
• Oversee internal food safety audits to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including HACCP and other applicable standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and processes to identify any potential food safety risks and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Prepare audit reports with recommendations for improvements and follow up to ensure actions are implemented effectively.
• Review and update food safety policies and procedures as needed to stay in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Analytical Skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• Experience in the food industry is a plus
• Proficiency in financial software and tools
