EVENT CONTENT

  •  important Islamic events that Muslim kids can learn about and celebrate:

    1. Ramadan 🌙

    • The holy month of fasting, prayer, and good deeds.
    • Kids can participate by fasting for a few hours, praying, and doing acts of kindness.

    2. Laylat al-Qadr (Night of Power) ✨

    • The most special night of Ramadan when the Quran was first revealed.
    • Families stay up praying and making du’a.

    3. Eid al-Fitr (Festival of Breaking the Fast) 🎉

    • Celebrated at the end of Ramadan with prayers, gifts, and feasting.
    • Kids enjoy wearing new clothes and receiving Eid gifts (Eidi).

    4. Hajj (Pilgrimage to Makkah) 🕋

    • The annual pilgrimage that Muslims perform if they can.
    • Kids can learn about the rituals of Hajj through stories and crafts.

    5. Day of Arafah 🏔️

    • The most important day of Hajj, where pilgrims pray on Mount Arafah.
    • Muslims around the world fast on this day for extra rewards.

    6. Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice) 🐑

    • Celebrates Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) test of faith.
    • Families sacrifice an animal and share the meat with the poor.

    7. Islamic New Year (1st Muharram) 🗓️

    • The start of the new Islamic calendar year.
    • A great time for kids to learn about Islamic history.

    8. Ashura (10th Muharram) 💧

    • A day of fasting to remember Prophet Musa (AS) and the rescue of the Israelites.

    9. Mawlid (Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday) 🌟

    • A day to learn about the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

    10. Isra and Miraj (Night Journey & Ascension) 🕌

    • The miraculous journey of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) from Makkah to Jerusalem and to the heavens.
    • Kids can learn about the importance of prayer (Salah).
